The Health and Wellness Ministry of St. Maurice Parish is focused on offering opportunities of self-promoted holistic health, wellness, and healing to our parish community through support and education. Various programs to prevent disease and encourage a healthy lifestyle will be extended to parishioners on a continual basis. 1. HeartSaver CPR Course

This course will certify participants in adult, child, and infant CPR, as well as the use of an A.E.D. Registration will be limited to 24 and will be honored on a first come, first served basis. The non-refundable fee for this class is $10 and must be paid in advance. Send or drop off your registration fee to Carolyn Broeren at the Parish Center Office or call her at 412-351-6008 for more information or if you have questions.

2. National Association of Counties Offers Free Prescription Discount Cards

This program is designed to help consumers cope with the high price of prescriptions by offering an average savings of 22% off of the retail price of commonly prescribed drugs. Cardholders and their family members may use the card any time their prescriptions are not covered by insurance.

Often times we are confused about which medications we are to take or forget if we took our medication on any given day. With Rx Map, customized pill packaging, you can take the guess work out of taking your medication.
