Ministries

Hundreds of St. Maurice parishioners serve God and the broader Parish community by contributing their time and talent to serve in a variety of special programs and activities to meet the needs of parents and children, helping you and your family grow together in God's love, through a broad range of Parish ministries.

Ladies of Charity

The Ladies of Charity (LOC) strive to imitate Jesus by helping those in need, spiritually and materially. The LOC provides visits and support for the sick and homebound, and sponsors regular meetings and activities throughout the year.

St. Vincent de Paul Society

Eucharistic Ministry

Eucharistic Ministers assist the Priest with distribution of Holy Eucharist during Sunday Masses and Holy Days of Obligation. They also carry the Eucharist to the ill or homebound.

Ministers of Hospitality (Ushers)

"Door Openers" to the House of God, our Ushers help Mass-goers find seats, assist those with disabilities, distribute bulletins and collect the Offertory.

Lectors

Lectors help proclaim the Word of God by leading the parish community in Scripture readings during liturgies.

Youth Ministry

Young people are not only the future of the Church; they are a vital part of our Parish today! St. Maurice's Youth Ministry helps students in grades 7-12 learn what it means to live as disciples of Jesus, by working to serve others and build a world based on Christ-centered values. Key components of effective youth ministry include advocacy, catechesis, community life, evangelization, justice, peace and service, leadership development, pastoral care and guidance, and prayer and worship.
